What Edvanta is
Edvanta handles the daily operating work of a coaching institute: enquiries and follow-ups, admissions, courses and batches, attendance, fee plans and collections, and the routine communication around all of it. One student record carries through from the first enquiry call to the final fee receipt.
It is deliberately not a school ERP. Academic terms, report-card machinery and the assumption that every parent will install an app are the wrong shape for an institute running evening batches for competitive exams.
Why we built it
Most coaching institutes run on a working combination of registers, spreadsheets, phone memory and message threads. It holds up until the same student has to be updated in five places, or until nobody can say who was supposed to call back the enquiry from Tuesday.
The answer is usually not more software. It is one place where the work already being done is recorded once and stays connected — which is the whole design brief Edvanta was built against.
What we optimise for
- Less admin, not more: if a feature adds steps to a front-desk day rather than removing them, it has failed.
- Familiar on day one: the software should match the vocabulary an institute already uses — courses, batches, instalments — rather than teaching a new one.
- Owner-operated scale: built for institutes run by their owners, with front-desk staff, counsellors and teachers working across a desktop and a phone.
- Your records stay yours: institutes own the data they put in, and can bring existing student records in from the spreadsheets they already keep.
